ZOOM COVID/COVID VACCINE PANEL: We are hosting a virtual, interactive panel discussion Tuesday at 6:30
p.m. that will let medical experts engage with us on the science and confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine as
well as the pandemic. Dr. Jacqui Jones and Dr. Rudolph Wise, along with Vince Ford, Sr VP at Prisma Health,
will discuss a range of issues from the Tuskegee experiment to rapid vaccine development. They will answer
pressing questions you have regarding Covid-19 and the vaccine.
BIBLE STUDY: Join us for Bible Study Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. on YouTube/Facebook Live or our website’s
Media link. Our facilitators are Min. M'lilian Scott, Rev. Hazel Reese and Trustee Reginald Sadler. This
month’s topic discussion is Love. Wednesday’s lesson is Storge (Family), Romans 12:9-12.
W.H.NEAL COLLEGE DAY: Our annual WH Neal College Day Rally is underway. This effort supplements
the church’s annual financial contributions to Benedict and Morris colleges. Donations may be made
online, via CashApp or mailed/dropped off at the church office now-Feb. 28. Our HBCU’s need our
financial support now more than ever. Rev. Olivia Williams is coordinator.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH: We are celebrating Black History Month virtually during February. The 2021
national theme is The Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity. Afrocentric Sunday is Feb. 28.
SOUPER BOWL: Founded by a church youth group in Columbia, the Souper Bowl of Caring is a national
effort fueled by those coming together to worship and make a difference in their communities. Be a champion for those suffering from hunger by donating $1 or more or canned donations. Contributions may be made online, via CashApp, mailed/church office through Feb. 28 Please donate generously; we
will receive a 15% match for our donations.
EASTER PROGRAM: Our annual Easter Program will be virtual this year. Parents of children who want to participate are asked to contact the church office at 2-5-4-6-2-3-2 by Feb. 26.
WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH EXTRAVAGANZA: Young ladies ages 18 and younger, the Women Mentoring Young Ladies Ministry invites you to participate in the 2021 Women’s History Month Virtual Extravaganza on March 27. Connect your story to an impactful black woman in history via a 20-second video. Contacts are Laureen Billingsley and Betty Richardson; deadline is Feb. 28.
